Don Cohen
I have a DS2 Mini, with Intercom Anywhere on my Android phone, and a current 4Sight subscription. When somebody rings the doorbell, my phone rings, the notification appears, I open the App, and answer the call. Despite this being much cumbersome than I would like (I would prefer this be handled the same way as an Incoming phone call, where a single tap makes the connection), it works as it should. However, the sound from the Door Station is coming in through the phone's ear speaker, and I don't see any way to engage the Speaker Phone. So for me to hear whoever is at the door, I have to hold the phone up to my ear, but then I can't see the Video on my phone. If I want to watch the Video, I can't hear what they're saying. Am I missing something obvious? How to I enable Speakerphone Mode with Intercom Anywhere?? I've looked through all the settings I can find, but if it's there, I'm not seeing it. Don Cohen
I'm sure many are using Intercom Anywhere, on Android - can Speakerphone be enabled? This seems like a basic function, in order to use both the audio and video aspect of the Intercom functioning. Hopefully there's some setting I'm missing. Maybe try and app called Auto Speaker. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hanan.android.ramkol&hl=en_US I do not know if it can work for this scenario. There may be others like it. I'm still genuinely curious if others have a built-in way of getting speakerphone functionality with Intercom Anywhere, which would seem essential for what it is doing. Don Cohen
Still interested in what other people are experiencing: I'm sure many here are using Intercom Anywhere on their Android Phones - are you able to put the phone into Speakerphone Mode, so that you can see the Video on the phone at the same time as you hear what the person is saying? Mine comes through the earpiece only, so to hear them I have to hold it to my ear, which prevents me from seeing them at the same time. This seems like a basic function, and I'm still hoping I'm missing something to get this working right. Thanks.
Don Cohen
So nobody uses the Intercom Anywhere app on Android to answer any intercom calls?
