Crholt
Hi everyone. My first post, on NYE of course. I just bought a new house and the owner left behind all the Control4 stuff. I’ve never used this before. When we initially checked out the house, the 2 remotes would say their respective areas, now they just say ‘Waiting for network.” I did the room off, #, *, 1, 3, 4, 1, 3 and Red 4 4x and it will scan but goes back to waiting for network. The house is using an HC800 and an IO Extender. The living room has 5.1 surround and a TV (tv not currently on wall) and the basement has 7.1 surround, tv (not currently on wall) projector and screen. Google keeps telling me to do the things I’m already doing. Turning to the forum for help and hope you guys and girls can lead me in the right direction and I can get things working before I end up having to call someone to come out. sonic30101
You are going to need a dealer to help reidentify the remote. That button sequence disconnects it from zigbee. Did the previous owner leave the router as well? Did they give you the email and password of the account the controller is registered to? mujtaba.khokhar
If you can get me temporary VPN access I can log in, remove old homeowner from system and set you with your own account & add the remote back for you too!
