rredelfs
I just got a new computer with Vista and am now getting an error message when I try to add an album to my HC1000 media server. When I select "add" I see all the music on the PC, but get “Could not find file ‘\\192.168.2.10\media\audio’” when I click on the "OK" button. I went back to my old Windows XP and everything works fine. This must be some Vista security setting. Any ideas what I need to change?
thecodeman
Are you running any antivirus/firewall programs like Norton or McAfee?
rredelfs
Yes, I'm running Symantec Anti-virus 10.2.2.2000. But I am also running an older version of Symantec on my old XP laptop and it doesn't seem to cause a problem with that one. Any suggestions about changing specfic settings? thecodeman
Try disabling the symantec services and see if that fixes it. If not, try the windows firewall after that. That way you can determine what exactly is blocking the connection.
