Köhler Medientechnik Posted September 22, 2021 Share Posted September 22, 2021 Hi, i´m currently trying to set up a Sony VW590ES (AFAIK that´s the VW325ES in the US) for Control4. I did the config according to the documentation in the C4 driver, but the projector is not found. I´ve done that successfully with my own Sony projector (VW5000ES) and this worked flawlessly. Since the process is actually pretty straightforward, i don´t really know where to look for the issue... According to the KB, there used to be a driver where you could input IP and MAC manually, but all of the drivers now seem to rely on auto detection. Any ideas? Köhler Medientechnik Posted September 23, 2021 Author Share Posted September 23, 2021 Problem solved. I wasn´t aware that you can manually set the IP address in the network-connections view... It´s still a mystery to me why the Sony doesn´t show up as a SDDP device (a Yamaha AVR in the same network does), but at least it´s working now.
