msmphs29
Hi, I have an HC 500 with only about 100 songs on it so far. It is painfully slow. I signed up for Rhaposdy and I also find it takes quite a while to load. Using either local music or Rhapsody slows down the entire system. I would say after a button click on the remote I can sometimes see delays as long as 2 minutes or more. I will often hit a button, leave the room and come back. PLEASE tell me this can't be right? I dropped a lot of money on this project...and my wife is ready to kill me! Plus I am pretty disappointed thus far...
thecodeman
What's your network setup? Is this the only controller in the project?
msmphs29
I have the HC 500 and one HC 200. There are a total of 4 TV's accessing the system. 2 of the TV's are what I would call "regularly used". The network is hard wired and runs over cat 5 or 6. is that what you mean? What's the make/model of your router, and the switch everything plugs into?
msmphs29
It all starts with comcast cable's ARRIS brand hub, plugs into a Siemens Speedstream SS2602 and then into a Netgear Prosafe Model 23/JFS524 switch. Does this help?
