drmark12pa
I'm having a sudden issue on my KITCHEN zone via my C4 amp. I've had some clipping due to some changes I did on the low end frequencies so I keep changing it back to a different setting without so much gain on the advanced EQ settings (decreasing the SHELVING setting) but it keeps going back to a setting of 11. When I change it to 5 for example it works just fine without the clipping but the next time the zone is on, it reverts to a setting of 11 as shown in my attachment for the 100 hz bass shelving setting..... no sure how this keeps changing itself back. Also, I do hit the apply settings to the zone as well. I've even exited Composer and went back in later to find it changed itself back to the higher number again.... drmark12pa
Still having this C4 amp issue.... Makes no sense.... I've reset EQ settings back to default (flat) and it works for the time the amp is on but seems like the next time the amp is turned on back to altered settings causing clipping. I've done both basic and advanced setting changes and apply. I've even applied settings from another zone and it still continues to revert to these "bad" settings causing the clipping. drmark12pa
Anyone have any recommendations here? Still having this issue with the EQ essentially changing itself to the shelved bass setting at 100hz to 11 which is causing clipping of my kitchen ceiling speakers. I can reset it to default, save, works for awhile then comes back with the incorrect setting that is causing the clipping. I've copied settings from other rooms, works for a little while, then back to issues. I've combed through MONITORING and PROGRAMMING looking for anything else the would cause this zone only to change it's own settings..... C4loso
Are you refreshing the project after making changes? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes, I've even rebooted controller, turned zone off and back in, changed the settings while zone is on and while it is off. I changed the lowest band to 100hz as it was odd all other 7 zones were 100hz and this affected zone had 80 hz as lowest even though I had reset to defaults. I'm going to check it again tonight to see where the numbers are

drmark12pa
I just unchecked show eq in navigator for Kitchen though it is checked for other rooms running off the same amp. Looks like my one controller EA5 has equalizer set to on but again I have 17 other zones running off the controller and none of them change on their own
