Hey all! Just wanted to take a quick second to introduce ourselves. We've been in the CEDIA market for a couple years now and have been building out a full array of products around our custom-designed and USA manufactured DMX lighting controller - PoE Axion DMX Controller – Axion Lighting. We've got a fully vetted and free Control4 driver that was even recently updated to support the Daylight Agent.

I promise not to SPAM everyone with news, just wanted to reach out, answer any questions and be a resource.

Also, if you're in Europe, you can purchase directly from the local distributor Aldous Systems.

Thanks!

Whilst always on the lookout for new products being brought to market, i was also after a new DMX controller and came across this one from Axion. Picked up a unit to evaluate its software and its integrations with Control4, with encouraging findings. It's now part of our large project and am delighted with the results.

Powered via PoE and running the unit in wired mode (it has a wifi option), setup was simple with a clean GUI providing a good amount of logging to rely on. It comes with three drivers (controller, RGBW dimmer and motorisation) and the same attention to detail put in the GUI can be seen with the design and programming in those drivers. Updates are also regular and there appears to be a consistent development pace too. Liked the idea of pre-programmed effects and the options/variables available via programming are well thought out too.

I understood a more advanced model is in the works with new ideas and additional features, some of which mirrors our own findings and feedback. A great bit of kit that we are very happy with.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
