Don1
I originally had a MC Controller. The controller crashed, but the diagnostics said the drive was still good. I then replaced the MC with the HC 300 and used the back-up drive. It didn't work well. My music library, however, is still on my original drive. I bought an external drive enclosure and put the original drive in it and plugged in the USB into the HC 300. However, the drive spins, but I can't get it recognized. I need help! jberger
I believe it's formatted as a Linux drive, so you need to use an alternative driver to mount it under windows. If the MC crashed, I'd expect it's really a problem with the hard drive.
Don1
Thanks for the info. I will try to see if your suggestion will work. The reason I think the drive is still good is because when the MC crashed it did a diagnostic on the drive and said it was good.
