spiderman09
I have some alarm stuff, and lighting switches, Kwikset locks I want to install.... Is there a benefit to waiting for 2.0 before I do this?

Is there a benefit to waiting for 2.0 before I do this? Not really. The major work will be to upgrade to ZigBee Pro. If you do this now during your upgrade to 1.8 you will already be running ZigBee Pro so there will be less work to do when you upgrade to 2.0. well_armed
Id rather wait to do the full upgrade to 2.0, even then I am going to wait and see how the early adopters report on it as any new build is quirky. So yeah, 1.8 might be a viable solution for some people if they dont want to wait another year for the z-pro features.
