neildilgee Posted February 9, 2010 Share Posted February 9, 2010 I was busy pull some cables through the alarm box.I heard a long beep and when I touch the keypad the beep went off. It's a Caddx nx 8. The keypad is now unresponsive ,the service light is on and the fire light is flashing. I think it needs a reset. Can someone please give some advice. Its quite urgent. akg4y Posted February 9, 2010 Share Posted February 9, 2010 Try to find the installation manual online and see if you knocked some wires free.If you want to do a reset normally for alarm systems you need to unplug the power and unplug the battery, wait 10-15 seconds, then plug the battery back in followed by the power. neildilgee Posted February 9, 2010 Author Share Posted February 9, 2010 I did knock out the power of a sensor and I did disconnect both power. The keypad is non responsive and fire led flashind.
