spoonman56 Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 I just received my new ReadyNas Pioneer Pro and I want to move the 100 or so movies from my old NAS to the ReadyNas. If I just copy the files over, will my C4 system still find the movies or do I have to scan and re-input all the data from the movies from my old NAS? thecodeman Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 Step 1) Setup similar share names on new NAS.oldnas\sharenamenewnas\sharenameStep 2) Copy files from old NAS to new NASStep 3) Turn off old NASstep 4) assign IP address of old NAS to new NAS - this way Control4 thinks it's looking at the "old nas" still since the IP address and share name are the same.Step 5) Profit..???
