jroza1
I recently added a thermostat to my Control4 install. I have noticed that the temp reading is actually quite a few degrees off from my old thermostat. This weekend I noticed a difference of 3-5 degrees on average. Is there a way to calibrate the thermostat, or should I just learn to compensate? Josh
CFUG
Calibration setting can be found in CHE (Monitor mode, properties tab). All of mine needed 6 degF of correction. Pretty crappy IMO but at least it's fixable.
jroza1
Awesome thanks... This will make the wife happy. All weekend long she was miffed that it was holding at 70 on the new thermo (programming) and our old Thermo was saying 63-68. For some reason she wasn't pleased when I suggested a sweater. ichbinbose
you may also want to get an old fashioned mercury (or what ever it is that they use now a days) thermometer to verify what the temp is. We installed several at a bar, and got called back saying that something was wrong and that it was too cold. I went out with a basic thermometer to check the temp. It turned out that the old unit had been wrong for years, and that the new units were spot on.
