I paid the MSRP of $299.00.If you are curious... my iPod went dead last week and I am definitely not buying another one. Rather get a couple more switches instead. I could use my iPhone but that doesn't make sense. The dock was installed in my study and has since been sitting there with the iPod docked in it.
