nortont
I would like to be able to have the media library detect that a podcast (or any other media) has been added to my Windows Home Server and put it in the library or play list.I have looked through the programming options and can not see a way to refresh the library or force it to scan.I am on v1.8.
ILoveC4
You can setup scheduled scanning of media in 2.0. I don't think that was included in 1.8.Sounds like update time!
nortont
An expensive update for something I would expect as standard
ILoveC4
It is standard....now. Everything has to become standard sometime.Believe me, they didn't add it to force guys like you to update. I'm sure the list of things they'd like the system to do is a mile long, and they're all prioritized. That feature finally made it to the top. Be glad they did it at all. matt4gps
If you buy a new HC-300 and make it the Director, then all your other controllers get updated automatically with 2.0 with no need for an upgrade purchase. Put your old controller in a different room.
