Passing Analog Audio Between 2 HTC's

Recommended Posts

Can't make analog audio stream between (2) HTCs in the same project.

HTC-1B's running 1.7.4.36 with static IP's

Master has source device Apple TV with analog L+R audio out to HTC RCA inputs 1 (TV is Panasonic Plasma)

Slave has analog audio Output 2 connected to TV's VIDEO L+R audio input (same input as navigator)

Made connections very basic

Apple TV Video -> Panasonic Plasma HDMI 3

Apple TV Audio -> Master HTC Audio Input 1

Master HTC-> Audio Output 2 -> Panasonic Plasma Video 2 (same as navigators video output) <- not important

Slave HTC - > Audio Output 2 -> Toshiba Video Input (same as video navigator)

Is this right? Or do I need to make more conections?

On the slave navigator shouldn't I be able to select MUSIC and Zones. Add the playing Master Apple TV and get streaming sound?

Any reading materials on setting up C4 audio zones (not using speaker points)?

Figured it out! Had RCA's plugged into wrong audio input jacks on TV ( one connected to slave controller). Dumb Me!

Observation: what an audio delay!

By using the Audio Output 2 on Master HTC for the main room (master htc location) it fixed the delay.

Now just to get my head around Zone functionality and modify the Navigator device list to 'hide' unused/less used devices.
