C4 Lover Posted November 28, 2010 Share Posted November 28, 2010 Is anyone experiencing the 7" touch screens making a high pitch noise anytime the screen turns on and comes out of sleep mode? I have 2 and only one does it but my dealer replaced it and the second one does the same thing. The noise goes in and out if you put slight pressure on the corner of the screen. Readjusted the inwall mounting bracket and placed the two ferrite caps as close to the ts as possible. running via POE and now everything works properly. C4 Lover Posted December 4, 2010 Author Share Posted December 4, 2010 Since I have two touch screens, I was able to move the one that makes noise to the other location. Same noise. But when I move the screen that makes NO noise to both locations, it works perfect in both locations. In other words, I have narrowed it to the TS itself and not the mounts.
