tmiller Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 Ok so C4 RMAd an HC300 for me, got the new one up and running and now cant get the media player to link up. On screen display shows it starting to boot but goes to a screen with the C4 logo, mac address and a message stating "Disconnected". C4 suggested USB Recovery but that wont even start. During the Controller replacement an OEM Cat5 cable was installed for the media player as well, replacing one stolen for another use while the C4 System was down. Well that OEM cable was bad and despite it appearing connected it was unable to actually connect and get its IP. I made one up myself and it overcame the disconnected state.
