gmaniax Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 Hi allIn the process of trying to identify a non-identifable dimmer, I tried everything but no luck. So, I reset it to factory defaults with the 747 tap sequence. Now, it doesnt identify and also the gateway has been changed to fffffffff from its previous setting. Does any know how to manually change the gateway back to its project state (similar with the others in the project)thxGM Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That just indicates that it's not identified.Have you verified that the dimmer is on the right zigbee channel?7-4-7 (7 top, 4 bottom, 7 top) will cause the top LED to blink the channel it's on, but does not reset it to factory defaults.So do the 747, then count the blinks.9-9-9 resets the device to factory defaults (15 just resets the device)RyanE Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Then stopped and restarted the zserver on the HTC and reidentified the dimmer and the problem corrected itself ...dimmer went back to the proper gatewayGM Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
