Now I have to convince the lady to make the purchase, but I thnk this is one I can't pass up on. Should the HC-1000 come with an Sr-250 ( like the 300 does?) Once the install is complete, I will post the results.I lived with an HC500 trying to run a system with 700 GB of music, security interface, 25 lighting zones and a bunch of relays/contacts for about 18 months on OS 1.7x. No iPad, but everything else about the system was slow. Dealer warned me, but I took my chances. Added an HC300 and things got a bit better, but not dramatic. Added an HC1000 AND upgraded to 2.0x and BANG! Night and Day difference. For the price he quoted, it may be B-stock. Mine was, but who cares. Whole family is happy...Just Do It. Mongo Posted March 11, 2011 Author Share Posted March 11, 2011 update! -- had my HC-1000 installed today -- and everything is like lighting! combined with the new IPAD update, and the 1000, load times for rooms, and even my 2tb of media is almost instantaniously, same for response times on my onscreen GUI with the Sr250.
