HVS_Spencer Posted March 12, 2011 Share Posted March 12, 2011 I'm working with a customer who has a HC-200 and is running 2.0.6. We attached a Western Digital external HD with his music and movies to the USB port behind the HC-200. It showed up in his Composer ME and we scanned all his media successfully. However, once the media scanned once, it now scans again and again and again continuously. When I click on MEDIA SCANNING OPTIONS to see why it's doing that, it gives me FATAL ERROR has occurred and requires the Composer to be restarted. It gives this message everytime we click on Media Scanning Options now.Any clue? What am I doing wrong? I'm attaching the error log for the gurus out there. HVS_Spencer Posted March 13, 2011 Author Share Posted March 13, 2011 Yes, we rebooted the HC-200 and the problem still occurs and the scanning continues. It happens both at his house when he's using the Media Edition AND when I login remotely using Remote Director. Everything else seems to work perfect, but when you go to click on Media Scanning Options it immediately comes back with fatal error and kicks you off.
