panamagixxer Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 As the subject says - can only be a guess, but do you think C4 will release updates/tweeks faster now that installers have the option to install the updates remotely? I recently (last week) had my software updated over the net (while on the phone with my installers support team) to fix an issue, plus it should fix my remote battery issue (I had to install fresh batteries about every two weeks). I doubt updates will come out that often (if they did - it would suggest that the software is shipping buggy to begin with)... and as the software now goes through a tough beta test period - I would think a few times a year will be all you'll see updates (if at all - as most updates offer new features for the new hardware - rarely offering anything new for old hardware).
