henniae Posted April 28, 2011 Share Posted April 28, 2011 this is the downside to UPS backups with audible alarms. they will drive you NUTZ in the middle of the night when they go off! many have to way/option to silence them either....Is that not the purpose of the alarm, to tell you there is a problem. If it did not have an alarm how would you know there was a problem. Assuming you don't have a UPS that can alert you via email or some other means.
