scottg61376 Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 I am trying to pair the Extra Vegetables Apple TV driver and the Apple TV itself. I am following the instructions, using the "Apple TV Remote Setup" app on the computer, however the instructions provided by EV suggest I can enter my own code to pair the two, however in reality the AppleTV states "Enter the passcode displayed on your remote" meaning that I can not set it myself. I have tried the 0000, but it looks like Apple has changed their process. Please help, growing more and more frustrated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If so, remove it and then try to pair it.I have, looks like the new process for pairing is that a random code is generated by the iOS device that the AppleTV requires to be matched on its end...it doesn't allow you to specify your own code.PS. scottg61376 Posted April 30, 2011 Author Share Posted April 30, 2011 Figured it out for myself. Was connecting two different AppleTVs to the project, got the IP addresses and Names backwards.
