dgbrown
I'm interested in placing a wireless security contact on my pool security gate and am interested in pro's/con's of going this route in addition to the obvious issues of the potential wear and tear the elements will have on same. Security panel is a GE Concord 4. I was thinking of using a wide gap contact.Any thoughts would be welcome.
ILoveC4
I mounted mine inside the gate. I've done this with all the gates on my property. Works like a champ and is completely invisible.

ILoveC4
ya!!Your and yours only!!I used wide gap magnetic sensor switches tied to a relay. I have card access wireless relay installed inside the fence post, with the wired side of the magnetic sensor switch. Then in the gate, the other side of the sensor switch is mounted. The sensor switches I got were far too long/wide initially, so I had to have them cut, but they still work great!
