Internet Radio- How to find the MP3 url

I copied this post from JV below to here as I think it is the best and easiest approach. . Everything below this works- but save your time and use...

go to http://www.shoutcast.com/

right click on a station, select 'save as' it will save as a file called "tunein-station.pls"

open that file in notepad.

I dont know why this is so hard to find or C4 doesn't have info how to get the url's to place into HE 2.1.

If they do, they hide it well.

I came across this site of how to get the url from sites like shoutcast.

A lot of people have emailed me and asked me for MP3 streams for various stations around the world that are owned by my employer.

At the request of our engineering department, I cannot give those out. They have invested millions of dollars in different delivery methods and making those accessible to people, and that is how they want the stations heard.

I don't agree with it, but I will honor there wishes.

hit the red F --- a window will come up -- in that window is the url string

Here is another way I found-- little program that runs in windows only.

It shows the url in the window of this proggy once the music starts to stream.

There is a free version and USD 24.95 for the regular.

To use-

1.close down your browsers first,

2.open this program,

3.open internet browser to shoutcast ( which I tried),

4. play stream ( I played stream via media monkey, but other players should work -- let me know)

Url now shows in window.
