Liftbox codes

Working with a liftbox lift and contacted the company to get the Rs232 codes...

Surprised to see something I couldn't make heads or tails of....

Integrating into an HC200 so I have to make or purchase the adaptor.

Yes I have the liftbox Rs232 adaptor installed in the unit....

Ex: Key Up (motor group 1) Byte 1 61H Byte 2 61H

Down (motor group 1) Byte 1 62H Byte 2 62H

Key 1 Byte 1 5AH Byte 2 1 Byte 3 0 Byte 4 5AH xor 1

Someone on another site converted the codes as such:

i would say the commands should look like this: (in hex)

Up (motor group 1) 61 61

Down (motor group 1) 62 62

Up (motor group 2) 65 65

Down (motor group 2) 69 69

for the saved position commands:

Key 1 5A 1 0 5B

Key 2 5A 2 0 58

Key 3 5A 3 0 59

Key 4 5A 4 0 5E

Key 5 5A 5 0 5F

Key 6 5A 6 0 6C

I tried to build a driver and received an error saying "Decimal Data can not be negative or contain characters"

I am so confused...
