markmsp
For some reason when I use my control4 remote to adjust the channel with up and down buttons or use the arrows to navigate a menu with my direct tv (it is set to IR) it will not stop scrolling. If I type in the channel number it is fine. This does not happen when I use my direct tv remote....Ideas/suggestions?
RyanE
I would guess that the IR Repeat count is set too high on the Channel Up / Down / Navigate buttons.RyanE
nawty
Change the programming to the HR20-HR21 and try it.....I had the same issues.... > What they did was change the behavior of the IR reception for the up, down, left, right and channel +/- functions. If a user with a hand held remote holdsdown one of these 6 functions the STB will assume that the user wants to go"faster" in the on-screen UI. So in control system land if you send IR for anyof these 6 commands AND the IR pulse is longer than .5s the STB will start tomove the position in the guide in this accelerated fashion.>> So to ensure that your customers don't see this behavior make sure that the IRpulses you are using are less than .5s. If you want to take advantage of thisnew IR timing then do some fancy press and hold logic. It's either a bug or afeature depending on your perspective.
