Personally I would still use an HC-300 and then add an HC-200 because the HC-200 does not include a remote, only has one audio out vs. 2, has fewer IR outputs as well as fewer RS232 and no relays or contacts. For the small overall price difference between the 200 & 300, the HC300 is really the best way to go for a single or main controller in a smaller project.
