chadburn
Hello all,I recently set up a program via HE to have my C4 email me when the connected Concord 4 security panel reported a 'trouble condition'. My thought was that for major items, like water etc, I'd have a separate routine connected to the sensor, but that any general trouble that got reported, like a sensor battery warning, would alert me via email and I could then check the panel display. After setting up the program to email when the security system status was 'enter trouble' I began getting several sets of email messages, always two messages that were three seconds apart, and a few times a day. The problem is after checking the panel it doesn't actually report any troubles....Anyone have any thoughts on this?
pharmdsmith
Do you have motion sensors?
chadburn
Yes, many of them. But the Concord has been disarmed. Are you saying that motion sensors will produce a trouble condition?
RyanE
It's possible the trouble event is triggering even on 'blank' trouble values (i.e. no trouble). You may want to also check the trouble variable ('TroubleText') that it's not empty (blank).RyanE
RyanE
Just to be clear:i.e. check it in programming, and if blank, don't send the email...RyanE
