In Composer is it necessary to refresh the controller anytime a change is made or a new function added? Does the controller accept a new command ONLY if it is refreshed?

I have a control4 Doorbell installed by the dealer. How would I program it to send a text message to my phone - 5407983482 - if the motion sensor detects movement at the front door. My phone carrier is Verizon. What would be the proper syntax I have Composer HE 3.2.2 Thanks in advance for help

I am going to upgrade to 3.0+. I will use the new control4 app on an Ipad. Does the 3.0 allow to place channel icons on the Ipad> Is a special driver reqd to do this?

I know how to rip the CD. I do it in Windows Media Player. How do I get the files on to the NAS. Can I copy the files from Media Player and directly paste it into the server?

I want to rip some CD's that I own and add the music to an QNAP NAS that is part of the system. What is the best way to do this? I have Media Composer. Thru Windows Media Player? What does the 'ADD' button on the Media Composer do and how should it be used? I have composer version 2.10.2

I have a 8 channel audio switch. Currently using 4 channels in 4 rooms. Audio switch is not full. The connections are legacy. Only music source I use is a NAS with audio files. Media composer does show XM in the tree in left pane. I can also scan for the XM stations. What audio driver is reqd so I can tell my dealer.

Will Sirus XM be part of HS800 software. Does it need another connection to audio switch?

sorry for delay. The actual version is 2.1.02. Dealer logs in remotely all the time to make changes. I am considering upgrading to 3.0+ I do use phones to listen to music and control some of the older light switches.

Otherwise it works great. I have a audio switch and control4 amplifier and can get music into 4 rooms. Also control a dozen light and fan switches. Dealer thinks upgrading to 3.0+ would not benefit me

How can I get XM radio integrated with control4. Is the driver available on this forum. My dealer says that this cannot be done as there is no 'path' for controller to follow
