I went from DS2 to DS2 Mini. People still couldn't figure out that it was a door bell and had a button. Also, motion detection drove me nuts so time to dumb it down to the Chime. My kids all have Ring and laugh at me.

  Just remind your kids how you had to walk uphill to school both ways in the snow and that a nickel got you a hot dog and 2 movie on a Saturday afternoon. That will shut them up
