Source driver, IR code, or 'device specific commands' - depends on the driver.

If the driver doesn't have it...in your case you may be able to use the room, and send {colour} command. {colour} of course denotes that you add red, green etc depending on which one you wnat

The driver doesn't have the colors for programing. I was trying to find a {colour} in the room for programing but I don't see any. No red, blue, green or yellow. I see them in the Device Events but not in the Device Actions. I would like to program, When command 'Stop' is received - Send command 'Blue' to Room. Where do I find {colour}?

The touch doesn't have genric hard buttons, so the only thing you could really do is at a room level:

WHEN command {whatever unused button available on the halo touch is available, say STOP} is received
IF {room} selected device is androidTV
    	send command {colour} to AndroidTV

I can't seem to find {colour} in the Action programming panel. Could you point me in the right direction?

  3. I am using a Video Storm IRUSB to control an Android box. In the IRUSB driver I can set the red, blue, green or yellow button to long press enter. I am using a Touch remote and want to set one of the hard buttons as the long press enter button. In Composer, when programming, I do not see anywhere under Actions to and one of the color buttons. Is there a way to map or program one of the hard buttons to activate one of the color buttons? If not, is there another way to long press enter?

  4. After setup I ask Alexa to discover devices. After discovery I have two new devices in the Alexa app, both with the same name (the name I gave the Kasa plug-in dimmer). One shows as a light connected via Control4 and the other as an outdoor plug-in dimmer connected via TP-LINK. I can change the plug-in dimmer to a SMARTPLUG or LIGHT but it doesn't change the options in Alexa Routines. I can only program for off or on. For it to show for me, I go to Routines, New Routines and then Add an event under WHEN. Finally I select Smart Home and it is the first choice for me. There is an icon that looks like a plug with the name I gave it next to it. If it doesn't show for you there, I would delete both Kasa devices from your Alexa app and then ask Alexa to discover devices again. I have done this a few times in hope that it would give me the dimming options that RAV claims they have. You could also try disabling and reinstalling the Alexa TP-LINK Kasa skill. Please post if you get it working.

  5. I have an Echo Link connected to the audio in on a Core 5. I know that the controller is receiving audio from the Link because I programed a light to turn on when audio is sensed and off when it is not. My issue is, I can not hear the audio. All my connections in Composer are correct and when I ask Alexa to play music, the Echo Link is selected in the room. The three outputs from the controller are connected to a matrix with audio sensing and I can see that the controller is not sending audio from any of the outputs when the Link is selected. I can play digital audio like Pandora, TuneIn, etc. and announcements from the controller. Why can I not hear the audio I am sending to the audio in?

There have been many updates. Kinda lost track of how many...

Could you please list a few of the updates that you think were significant? I know they did add volume on the screen, but only when you change the volume, so you can't see the current volume without adjusting it. Other than that, I can't think of much else, other than adjustments for the battery and the typical bug fixes.

I thought that was always the case that a premium account was required?

Maybe I had an old driver that worked with a free account and when my controller changed to 3.4.0 it stopped? But it was definitely working with my free account up until now. I deleted the old driver and added it back. When playing something the controller shows in Spotify but it won't connect.

  8. It seems internet outages have become way more frequent for me and Alexa voice control has become a lot more relevant in my daily use. Unfortunately the Control4 driver doesn't seem to work without an internet connection. I know the old Alexa Epic Driver used to work. Is the Epic driver still an option? Is there some other way to use Alexa voice control without internet?
