I need to record several of my sons football games off of the Direct TV DVR.  The DVR stream is encoded so you can not record over HDMI.  The best I can figure out is to convert the HDMI to component video and converting back to HDMI to my computer.  The quality isn’t great. Has anyone else solved this problem?

Should also note when this command is issued after a power on tv command there is a delay like maybe 10-15 secs before Art Mode is launched after power on.  Think it’s just a delay in the TV driver itself to hold commands giving the TV time to start up

I looked at the decotv solution, unfortunately they don't have the version for the 2021 Frame TV yet.  I then decided that Control4 should be able to do this easy peazy.  I guess that was a bad assumption.  Hopefully I am doing something wrong.

I sure will.  Unfortunately, I haven't made any progress on this.  Have you succesfully and consistenly been able to invoke Art Mode with Control4?

I built a frame around the Frame TV that covers up the TVs sensor.  So, I needed an external sensor.

I am losing my fight with Art Mode on my 2021 Frame TV.  IP paired thru Control4.  

I am using a NYCE motion detector to invoke Art Mode.  The motion detector is working great, but the programming is not.

I am executing a macro based on motion.  I have tried all sequences:

1) Turn on Art Mode ( with Room Actions)

2) Turn on Art Mode ( with Device Actions)

3) Turn on the TV then Art Mode ( with Room Actions)

4) Turn on the TV then Art Mode ( with Device Actions)

5) Turn on the TV and the turn the TV off (to invoke Art Mode)

It will not work in any circumstance

If I use the Samsung Remote I have no problem

When I use the Control 4 Remote, the best sequence has been to Turn on the TV and then Room Off will activate Art Mode

Yes, refreshing the Navigators solved the problem 

Installed the Intellicenter and driver.  It works just fine and is connected when accessing through Composer.  However, it does not work when accessing through the mobile app or on the Control4 Tablet.  I get an error message that says “This device has not bee configured. Please contact your Smart Home Pro.”

I have a TPI infrared heater in my garage.  The heater is 240V and  draws about 12A.  Is there a Control 4 switch I could use to control the heater?

I am a Control 4 Homebridge user and really happy with the capabilities it provides for IOS.  I don’t use it, but my wife does and it easier for her to use than the Control 4 app.  I like the idea of setting up a Virtual Light and using that to run macros etc.  How do you set up a Virtual Light? I asked my dealer and he did not how to do it?

Is there a way to create a scene so it appears on the Nest Home Max?  I really like the ability to swipe down and select lighting, it would be ideal if I could select audio too!

I have been very impressed with the Google Home application and the integration to Control 4 for lighting.  How can I use this same integration to integrate Audio?  

All of I sudden my Control4 system stopped working. I could not get any of my system to work, I went in and tried to look at it via Composer HE and it does not show the IP address.  Can't get in via Mobile App.  Have checked all connections and rebooted.  No joy.

As part of this I am also looking for a new remote Control4 dealer/consultant.  Have used remote for years but he is not very responsive on issues like this. I appreciate any help or guidance.

I am using the Homebridge driver to expose items to AppleKit.  My use case is to find a easy to use interface for my Wife (she has trouble with the Control4 App).  It is working just fine, however it does not recognize Audio and Video devices.  Any pointers how I can use AppleKit to access Audio/Video devices or to kick off Control4 macros?

When I press the Control4 on screen navigator button, most of the screen is black and on the top left it shows a small section from the original navigator.  I have tried everything including rebooting the main unit.

I have created a series of Timer points so I can set a sleep timer from the navigator on my TV.  As I program the timer I want to activate the custom timer and then go right back to the channel we were watching.  As I setup the button in the Programming window, what command do i use to go back to the channel I was watching?

I am guessing this is actually pretty easy, but I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find it.

I am considering purchasing a Controlbyweb X-310 device so I can monitor my whole house generator.  I would like to then have a notification via Control4 to tell me that the daily generator test ran.  Also, I would like to be able to start the generator from Control4.  Will this driver allow me to do both fo those functions?
