  1. Starting about 3 days ago (at least that's when I first noticed), when I answer a call from my DS2 front door I can see/hear the person at the door, but they cannot hear me.  I tried the DS2 on my gate and also tried calling my touch screen, and the same issue on all 3.  I have an Android phone, so I tried using the app on an iPhone and we are having the same issue. Rebooting the EA-3 and the POE switch did not help.  Drivers are up to date and nothing has been changed recently.  Anyone else come across this issue or have any suggestions?

  2. A few days ago I was unable to control my MyQ products via Control 4.  When I click on open the garage door, it just shows that's it's in the opening state forever and the door does not open.  I logged into composer and saw this "token has failed, internet or account issue".  What would cause that?  I have no issues controlling my products using the MyQ app and the password has not changed. Thanks.

  3. Appreciate all the responses.  While digging in HE last night I read in the notes that I should make sure DHCP was on in the projector settings, and also to turn on the option for Control4.  I planned on checking those out this morning, but lo and behold it works again on its own.  Guess I'll have to troubleshoot next time.  Still would like to know why it quit to begin with.

  4. I'm assuming my projector is controlled via IP and over the past year every couple of months when I select "wash tv" or watch whatever, everything turns on but the projector.  It has always starting working the next day, so I never really cared too much to troubleshoot.  Well now it hasn't worked in 3 days and I'm wondering what could have gone wrong?  Nothing has changed lately, so I've tried restarting my EA-1, EA-3 and home router.  What could be causing my issue?

    Thanks.

Ah, makes sense.  When  I click on request pin code using HE, nothing happens.  Are you sure it doesn't have to be in Pro?

Nevermind, found the pin and linked it, but still no syncing in the app.  It does say driver not bound.  I'm assuming that's the issue?  They did remove the driver and add it back, seems they missed a step.

I had the same problem and broke the link simply by powercycling the controller.  Was then able to link via the extras screen.

I already had the updated driver and the code was no longer 4 characters but 8 in the form xxxx-xxxx.  I don’t know when the format of the pin code changed but my Ecobee connection has been solid after having to re-establish it about once a week.

Thanks!  I thought about that long ago, but never tried it.  I wrongly assumed that refreshing the navigator would do the same thing.  I just rebooted it and now get the option to click and get a pin in the C4 app, but nothing happens when I click on it.  Any suggestions?

  7. I noticed that my Ecobee thermostats were no longer getting updated in my C4 app after the last OS update.  I went to the thermostat and it was asking to go to the "extras" tab and get a pin code so that I could link them with my account.  I did, but by the time I was able to login to my account to add the code, it said "code expired".  When I went back to my C4 app to get another code, it now says "account linked" even though they are not and it will not let me generate another code.  How do I get it realize they are not linked and let me generate another code? Thanks.

  8. One thing I just thought of, in my other room the receiver uses IR control, and on that remote it doesn't show the volume bar on the screen after the update.  Since it does show the volume bar on the remote used for the Acurus, it would likely be because it's a 2 way connection.  Weird though that it shows 100% all the time.  Any idea what would cause that?

though I don't think my statement is 100% accurate - if its being controlled by IR its 100% 1 way.  If its IP or RS232 good chance it is 2 way.  I do not see your device in the database below so I'll assume if you are getting 1 way and its not in the database below they may have written you a simple IR Driver?

Possibly.  I'll confirm the connection and go from there.  Thanks!
