So my old dealer years back never uploaded my backup to my acct. fast forward to now, i have a new local dealer who is working with me and coming to my home in a couple of weeks. He asked if I had a backup and I don't, but I contacted the old dealer and obviously he has the programming because he came to my home over the course of several years to "tweak" things at times. I asked him to upload my backup, but he hasn't yet. My question is, who owns that backup and should he provide the backup to me as I paid for the installation and maint? tks

What I meant was I have the latest that the HC-250 works with 2.9 something maybe? I just want to be sure the SC-260 works with that setup for sure.

I have an HC-250 with the latest SW so hopefully they work together, no plans to change the HC-250 now. tks

these two work together fine with no issues? I have an older SR-250 and was basically being offered an SR-260 cheap. Is it work the upgrade and compatible? tks

I checked my account, it has all my equipment listed and acct info, but says no backups found.

I personally didn't back anything up, didn't know that was needed. The dealer who installed years ago I assumed did all that. Where is the scripting they created to run the room located? Is that loaded to the control box or elsewhere?

Hi, my HC-250 died (won't power on at all), but it worked perfectly for what I needed. I have found many used HC-250s online for sale at reasonable prices. I have a few questions before I decide what to do: Can i buy a used HC-250 like mine and replace it with the dead one? Will my existing license work on the dead box or will someone have to xfer to the new box? Will my scripting all still work which controlled my equipment and lights in the room? I'm having trouble getting anyone to even reach back to me locally, but I'm not looking to do some big new install so I am getting nowhere fast! Any advice on how I can get things back up and running? thanks, Bill
