Looks like the device is on Embernet. To verify try 7tap top button-4tap bottom button-7tap top button. If the device flash white 14 times then it's on Embernet. Embernet upgrades are not supported in OS 2.6.0+. So if you are on OS 2.6.0+ then i would recommend replacing KPZ-3b1 with KPZ on ZigBee Pro. To update KPZ-3b1 to ZigBee Pro you must use an older controller (HC200/300/500). Create zigbee pro mesh, open up the Tools > Network Tools screen and in the ZigBee network tab you can see if the coordinator is online. Verify that the zigbee pro mesh has been created. In the embernet upgrade tab of the network tools screen, click on the button that says controllers to enable a controller to run as your embernet up-grader. You will notice that you can add nodes in this screen as well, this is only necessary if you have not already added the Embernet devices before the update. If the nodes have been added prior to the update, all that you need to do is sit back and wait until all devices that are on Embernet are updated to mini app mode or have completed the update on the embernet side. Once all the nodes have been updated, make sure that the controller(s) you have enabled have been disabled. Once all of the devices are updated in the embernet upgrade tab, it is time to join them to the zigbee pro mesh. Keypads, Dimmers, Switches, and Outlet Modules will be in mini app mode. You can tell this because the led’s on these devices will be flashing green. To join these devices to the zigbee pro mesh you need to press and hold down the bottom button till the led’s start flashing an amber color. The six button keypad identifies with the bottom left button. The zap coordinator has to be online and within range of the devices that you are trying to associate with the mesh. You can see the coordinators status in the zigbee network tab.
