  1. Thanks, looks perfect! Have ordered some. Project won’t be until the fall (when it cools down).
  2. This is the type of thing I was looking for, but they all seem to be ‘Tuya inside’…
  3. Thanks. I couldn’t find anything in the TP link kasa family that was small enough to go into an electrical box. I did consider adding a second ‘switch’ box for each light, but that seemed clunky and also unlikely to be weatherproof over the years.
  4. Hi, I have three security lights running off a single circuit. I want to make them ‘smart’. Was looking at the small Tuya modules that can go in the electrical boxes for each light, to give me individual control. Reading up, seems Tuya driver is no longer available. I liked the outdoor temperature range, small size, and general capabilities of the Tuya modules. These are eave-mounted lights, so not easily accessible after installation. Rewiring is not an option. Anyone got any suggestions for solutions? Thanks, John
  5. Using eARC successfully with Sony TV and AV receiver, installed about a year ago. Had plenty of set-up trouble to start with, but got there. It’s now reliable, using a mix of TV apps, Apple TV box, and Verizon FIOS. Some Sony AV receivers support eARC WITHOUT CEC, which makes the control easier. (Unfortunately, mine does not.) So, it can be done. It does require more thought on what the commands will do, particularly when changing inputs. (On/off is pretty easy.) Like many new standards, I’m sure there were (and still are) some compatibility issues, but I’m using eARC in two rooms now, without issue. Other room is LG TV and latest Sonos sound bar (with Atmos, no other AV receiver). Haven’t hooked the LG up to Control4 as the LG remote does a great job and there’s no other integrations I’m concerned with in that room. Good luck!
  6. Hi, I’m using a Z2IO to monitor whether gates are open / closed. Can’t work out how to display the status in the app and Neeo. Want to be able to choose an icon and display it, based on the contact input status. I’m sure there’s an obvious way to do it, but I can’t figure it out. Thanks, John.
