I did not realize the delay was 4 min. but it sure did seem longer than 4 min. When you say to change the polling time, where is this done?

Yes, she does this today. However, if someone opens the door to throw something into the trash and shuts the door and then it locks after 5 min. timer has expired. She already sleeps with music and muffles noise some.

All, thanks and yes I have the dip switch in correct position so no beeps. I should have stated It is the motor that is loud and her room is close to this door. That is why I would like it not to automatic lock as the motor is loud and wakes her up (light sleeper).

My daughter works evening shift and she would like to not hear the Kwikset door lock (which currently auto locks after 5 min.) during the time period of 6:00 AM and noon everyday while she is sleeping. The auto lock is working. Initial thought is to setup if time is between 6:00 AM and Noon and Door lock is unlocked do nothing else if door is unlocked, start door unlock timer and lock door Thoughts on this approach or what are your best practice to set this up?

Appreciate the best practices of using timers instead of delays. I will incorporate those and remove delays. Thanks for your response.

I have NYCE Motion sensor setup to detect motion and to turn on laundry hall light. This works. However, something simple as sensor not detecting motion and then turn off laundry hall light, is not working. I can setup a delay and force the light to turn off after sensor detection motion but that is just a work around. Any suggestions on what I may be missing? Current programming with work around is. ? If the Laundry Hall>Motion Sensor is sensing motion Turn on the laundry hall >laundry hall set the brighness to 100 on the laundry hall>laundry hall <this is where it would end normally but I have included the following> delay 120 seconds Turn off the laundry hall>laundry hall All I have setup for not sensing motion is When the laundry hall>motion sensor stops sensing motion Turn off laundry hall Appreciate any suggestions as to why when not sensing motion, it is not turning off the laundry hall light.

I have another question. If Control4 can not play integrate Amazon Favorites, is there a way to do voice control via Amazon echo to play the Amazon playlist but via Control4 amp controled speakers? Thank you, Tim

I have Amazon Music Favorites that I can get to via my remote, phone and tablet. However, I am trying to use HE to setup a keypad so one of the buttons plays Amazon Music favorite when pressed, second favorite when double click and a third favorite when clicked three times. However, I am not see how I can add favorite to be available to choose the favorite when programming the keypad. I had my dealer create the events I wanted. I have the theater turning on with scene when button is pressed, button for everything off, music broadcast by any of the streaming music I have, but I do not see any favorites to select from. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated on how to take Amazon Music favorite, add it to control4 and be selectable via programing the keypad button. My wife wants me to get her Christmas collection up and running so it is ready. I guess she is giving me enough time to get this done, lol.

All, I am using Composer Home Edition and am trying to setup Chime Door bell with zones. However, I am not seeing where I can activate zones. I see they are greyed out. Am I over looking something or is this something that a delaer needs to turn on like events for zones, then I can create my zones? Or are zones creation not possible in Composer Home Edition? Thank you!
