Hi, all. Thanks so much! Awesome example of message boards working. I was trying to fix it from 2000 miles away as I am traveling and my wife was frustrated that the remote did nothing - turns out our 12-year old has been sleeping in my bed and, though he is a whiz at most devices, he somehow managed to open a C4 menu by mistake and changed the room to one that is blank/not programmed. Switched it back over Facetime and we're good to go. Thanks to all who responded! Turns out, the screen actually read "Master Bathroom," which is not programmed (maybe it's a preset?), so when she selected Watch TV, the "Empty" messaged popped up - I guess, telling us the Master Bathroom has not been programmed, so it is empty. Thanks again! S

it only controls one room - other two rooms have their own

Nothing changed -- all components work with their oem remotes, but not the C4. In the past, the C4 would show an hourglass icon or have other issues that could be remedied by removing battery, cycling C4 box, etc. Searches revealed no other C4's showing an "empty" message, which is very strange.

Getting an "empty" message on the screen. Tried removing battery, resetting C4 box, etc. Has anyone seen this message? Our AV company here in Phoenix stopped servicing residential customers, so am currently looking for a new company to help with our C4 systems. Thanks for any ideas/leads!
