I was thinking of maybe burying electrical wire up much of the path and using hue bulbs and a second bridge attached at the back of the house. The path starts about 50ft from the house, so the first bulb and subsequent going down path should act as extenders, correct? The CA1 wireless is an option to if pathway lighting is not done.

Any ideas on best practice for lights that are a distance away? These are for dock lights that are approximately 250ft down the hill on the dock. Wifi or zigbee extender, run ethernet cable, hue or control4 or other solution?

I have powered roller shades in the living room which are under living room and marked as visible for that room. However we wanted the master to be able to control anything in the house. If I do not make them visible for the master, the shades button will not even show in the app under that room. However, when you do that and "All" is selected as the filter in shades, it duplicates everything showing once under living room and once under master. Is there another way to do this so you can control living room items without having to switch rooms all the time or to make it show up under master room without being duplicated in the app?

Has this changed at all? Is it still just the chime and vdb? What about the pakedge cameras, can they be configured for motion media so a video clip will show up in event history?

I have two chime doorbell cameras and was trying to wire them to the existing analog doorbell. Does it require two doorbell adapters, one for each of the cameras?

Any idea on how to integrate a schlage connect BE469zp either through a custom driver, a 3rd party driver, or integrated through a different hub? I looked to see if I could integrate through qolsys but not sure I can. The current schlage driver only supports older models like 468.
