  1. Recently put a bullet in the Crestron NVX system I've had the past few years and got the house back on my trusty ol' C4 system (with upgraded controllers and such). To replace the NVX, I got a couple of 749AVPs for the rack and 518AVPs for the TV rooms. I'm breaking out stereo audio for the audio zones, mostly for game day audio throughout the house and by the pool. BUT! The switching isn't functioning correctly for the stereo audio. Video switching through J+P matrix via C4 control is working perfectly. When I try to add an audio zone to the session for the video, I get nothing. When I look at the current state of the switching in Composer, the right inputs and outputs aren't connected (virtually, that is...within the switch and/or amp, the right inputs->output mapping in the matrix isn't "ON" I've verified both the physical and digital (C4 connections) wiring by manually manipulating the switches in Composer to align the Stereo Ouput through my 16x16 matrix, into my 8-zone amp for the rooms I care about and sound flows freely. I'm assuming I not only need the room's Audio End Point and Audio Volume connected, but I also need Video Audio and Video Volume, so I have those mapped to the same Amp Room Selection. So as far as I can tell, everything is wired and "wired" correctly. C4 just doesn't make the relevant intra switch/amp connections when I add the audio zone to the video session. This is the last bug in the system before I start building all my new automation. Appreciate any insights here. ------- EDIT. -------- Yeah, I'm an idiot. The stereo audio split out has nothing to do with the matrix. All I needed to do was take the audio output from the source device and map it to the AV Matrix input it was connected to. Working like a charm instantly.
