hankbank
I have 7 for sale. New White. Bought them by mistake and dealer is no longer in business. No face plates. Anyone interested let me know. LDZ-101-240-W
ILoveC4
A US dealer sold you those? What would a 240v dimmer be used for in the United States? I'm no electrician, but what 240v wiring would you want to "dim" (or even switch for that matter)?
thecodeman
High voltage applications for switching that come to mind are tennis court lighting, for example. Though there's ways to turn those on and off with standard switches controlling the higher power relay that handles the current.
ILoveC4
Yeah, I figured the card access high voltage switch or whatever they call it would work good for that.I wish I had a use for 240v stuff, I need some dimmers and would love to help you out.Do they actually require 240v, or can they be ran off of less power (120v)? hankbank
as far as I know only 240v. They were in box of many dimmers and I didn't bother checking until it was too late. I suppose you could switch a dryer or some other high voltage item with it. I don't know why you would want to get that crazy. I could see more use in commercial applications for switching warehouse lighting.
henniae
The 240v dimmers are not even sold in the United States. As far as I know a US Control 4 dealer can't order them. I am not sure if they are even rated for use in the US. I am not positive but are they 50 Hz not 60 Hz. Would they even work on the US power grid?
