kcoxferris
Thanks a million dan, I may just have to do that as I do have a spare dimmer, I was just always told that a switch is needed I will give that a try then. Could this same philosophy be put towards CFL's that are not dimmable too or possible fluorescent's?

CFUG
Let me pull-back for a moment. I believe this switch was replaced by a dimmer and not one that was removed due to flakey FL operation. Let me think a bit before I take your money.

ILoveC4
You can do that with flourescents as well...works just the same.Just make sure you set the ramp time to zero.To ensure nobody holds the button down and does something goofy, disconnect the load (uncheck box "buttons connected"). This basically turns the dimmer into a keypad. Set the ramp time to zero, and then program it so when the top button is pressed, to the dimmer to 100% over 0 seconds, when the bottom is pressed turn to 0% of 0 seconds. If you have any issues or questions, let us know.
