AP-123
Anyone ever come across the Error# 5100 for Adobe Air? I've tried to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Air - It's being finiky and I needed to install it with admin rights to get it to install. Now Control4 for PC not installing. Giving the following error: The application could not be installed. Try installing it again. If the problem persists, contact the application author.Error# 5100. AP-123
Looks like I'm going to need the luck. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling. The same from Safe Mode. Did system scan, then ccleaner. Nothing is working. The link is from 2012. Nothing there I can decipher. A lot of posts about this error but nothing specific about resolution other than what I've tried. AP-123
Genius - just found a trick and it worked! Problem solved: Open Task Manager Select "File" then "Run New Task" Check the box "Create this task with administrative privileges" Browse "Control4 for PC-Mac.air" in your computer (Remember to change the browse search to all files.) pkkaiser
There is no task manager on a Mac? Activity Manager does not have an option to run files. What program are you using to do this?

pkkaiser
I suddenly cannot use the Mac version of control4PC-Mac. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling. It says "Invalid username and/or password, Please try again" Access with same usernam/pw on mycontrol4, and on the iOS version works fine, so I am entering the correct credentials (and up till today it worked fine). Any suggestions?

pkkaiser
thanks...deleted ~library\application Support\AIR\ELS\MyHomePC. then reinstalled air and control4PC-MAc. Still asks for password. Since the online version works is there a place on director that stores the username/pw? Thanks for your help

Thanks for your help the controller has no record of user/pass. is time/date correct on both your computer and controller? If that's right, and your user/pass is 100% correct, it sounds like it might be time to have your dealer call support.
