jacdx
Hi all,I've gotten most of the kinks with my system worked out that moving over to the HC-800. A big one that remains is that annoucements aren't synced. E.g. they will fire through my amp, then 2-3 seconds later for receiver zones (which have their own controllers). Is there a quick fix? tebery
Are the delayed amps always on or do they a couple seconds to wake up/power on?
thecodeman
+1 there will be a delay if the receiver is off and has to power up, switch inputs, etc.
jacdx
Yes, I have a delay on the announcement to compensate for the amp powerup time. If the delay isn't there, the announcement finishes before the Onkyo starts up. Here's the thing: prior to installing the HC-800, the announcements were synced perfectly. After HC-800, they fire at different times. I'll hear the (fed by the HC-800) C4 amp announcement then the Onkyo (fed by an HC-200) a few seconds later. thecodeman
So is the 800 connected HDMI and the 200 via stereo?
