pharmdsmith
It's determined by your lat/long settings.
gilforeman
Is there anyway to use that for programming? That would be nice.
AceOfSpades
I don't think you can program off that temperature. You may need a remote sensor connected to your tstat, then you can program off of "V1 Outdoor_Temperature" from the tstat

You may need a remote sensor connected to your tstat, then you can program off of "V1 Outdoor_Temperature" from the tstatI thought if you added a remote sensor to the Tstat for it to be useable, it became the sensor used to trigger heat or cooling. Can you add a remote Tstat sensor outside and just take readings from it and not trigger heating an cooling?
pharmdsmith
The temperature at the top right can't be used to program off of. This request has been brought to Control4. How easy it is to implement or when/where it is on their to do list I don't know.Dannyboy is right if you connect a remote sensor to a C4 temp and use it, it becomes the sole gauge for that thermostat and thus triggers heating and cooling.
