strange_brew
is it possible to trigger programming from the outdoor temperature that the Navigator GUI displays? It must be somewhere in the system, but is it available for use as a programming variable?Ryan?

It must be somewhere in the system, but is it available for use as a programming variable?Ryan?I'd like this too. It is on my list of things to look in to, but I haven't got to it yet.I think (unfortunately) we'll need to add a weather station and then program off of that, but I hope I'm wrong. ILoveC4
I just took a minute and poked around...I couldn't find anything. As silly as it is (because the system is already displaying that info!) I think a device with an external thermistor will need to be put in the shade somewhere outside the house (sheltered) and use the temp that reports. CFUG
Yes, very easy to do with any CA relay. My temps always match those of the weather service.
pstuart
I do it with a CA device and have an external thermister... works great. with the t-stat proxy it shows up on touchscreens and other devices too.
CFUG
ILC4 is right though, thermistor needs a solar radiation shield or a nice shaded area. It's worthless without...
