Disappointed in Panasonic IR codes

Panasonic TV's have always been popular, but C4 online drivers aren't keeping up with latest models. Most online Panasonic Plasma models have discrete codes for Power_On, but not Power_Off? This is really odd, they take time to add discrete Power_On, but skipped Power_off and default the driver to "use discrete on/off codes'.

So many other codes for VieraCast, VieraTools, 3D are not there. Of course it's easy enough to add these codes from the original remote, but to help installers wouldn't it be nice to have updated (more complete) drivers?

Meh. Try living in anywhere but the states. You'll find that drivers generally don't work and you have to make your own. Anyway once you do a driver for one manufacturer it usually works for the rest of their range for that year anyway.

I rarley have issues with panasonic IR drivers for on/off, now inputs that are not mapped right that's another issue. One that takes maybe 5 minutes to fix, frustrating all the same though.

And Thank God with the HDMI output of the HC250 we don't have to make do with a Component macro for the Panasonic range anymore!
