AceOfSpades Posted July 2, 2012 Share Posted July 2, 2012 Just added a HC-800 to project and now it is running Director(Replaced HC-300c). I have a HDMI Matrix Switch connected to it using a Serial Connection. The Serial connection worked on the HC-300, but not on the HC-800. Does anyone know of a specific way to troubleshoot serial connections? Normally I would use a PC, but I don't have a Serial connection or USB to Serial cable. AceOfSpades Posted July 2, 2012 Author Share Posted July 2, 2012 Bindings were moved over from HC-300 to HC-800. Just upgraded to the 2.2.2.1844 code set today. The commands didn't work before the upgrade either.Don't worry. Just ordered a Serial over USB adapter. I will connect to the device using Putty to see if the settings are correct based on the driver.Also, I just finished creating an IR driver. Probably will go that route.
