thegizzard
This is an interesting device for $99.http://store.vizio.com/costar.htmlBasically GoogleTV plus some other interesting stuff like Netflix, Amazon Movies, and OnLive Gaming.According to Vizio the Co-Star can be controlled by The GoogleTV Remote.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.tvremote&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5nb29nbGUuYW5kcm9pZC5hcHBzLnR2cmVtb3RlIl0Am I correct to assume this means a Control4 driver can be built for this? Cyknight
Mhh well it's a little unclear is it has an IR RECEIVER or not. If it does, getting it integrated in a basic way is not a problem.More specific control would have to be IP, which means getting a hold of the API and having enough of a market to spend the time to build it. thegizzard
There is no IR control for this device. But there seems to be IP control since it can be controlled by the googletv remote.
Cyknight
As said then - as long as the API is available and there is enough public interest in the device - a driver is possible.
